Generac is America's #1 manufacturer of home backup generators, with over 60 years of engineering expertise. Founded in 1959 in Waukesha, Wisconsin, Generac pioneered the residential standby generator market and today holds the largest market share in North America.

For Carolina homeowners, the Generac Guardian series is the most popular choice - offering 18kW to 26kW air-cooled units that power entire homes during outages. The G-Force engine is purpose-built for generator use, providing longer life and more reliable cold-weather starts after months of sitting idle.

Mobile Link, Generac's remote monitoring platform, comes included with every new unit. It connects your generator to Wi-Fi or a cellular module, sending status updates, maintenance reminders, and fault alerts directly to your phone. You'll know if your generator exercised successfully this week - or if it needs attention before the next storm.

Generac's Quiet-Test mode runs the weekly exercise cycle at lower RPMs, reducing noise to barely a whisper. This matters in residential neighborhoods where a loud generator test at 2 AM doesn't make friends. The aluminum enclosure resists corrosion in Carolina's humid climate, and the unit is rated for wind speeds up to 150 mph - critical when hurricane remnants push through the Upstate.
